little black notebooks

I found a blog covering Moleskines, Miquelriuses, and other little blank books. You love 'em, I love 'em, and this guy loves 'em so much he has a blog devoted to them. And if you go there, you'll see the reason I'm linking to him in this post....

The blog has a prejudice for smaller rather than larger, the idea being that if it can't be with you at all times, it won't be with you when you need it.

Personally, I go for the 200 sheet SM Grid Miquelrius. Barely fits in my back jeans pocket, but it's good for about a year's worth of pensees...

Although I rarely have pensees anymore, I am considering breaking into a new style of back-pocket notebook. Moleskines are cool, but the pages start falling out too quickly.

Interesting and great perspective. I was reading about how educational systems in Asia like to teach more about less vs. North American focus on teaching less about more. The 'note/pocketbook' inspired me to recall that interesting knowledge. We do attempt to consume as much as we can, drifting away from what we should be focused on at times. More is less, less is more. Simple is savvy, and more essential to progress - simply innovative is 'rockin!'. Thanks for sharing!
